Student Lifeat Calvary Chapel Bible College Europe

Koinonia | Thursday Night Chapel

Every Thursday evening we meet as a group for bible study. This includes all staff members, interns, students, and those from surrounding villages. We seek to come together for a time of worship, prayer, studying the Word, and Communion--to come in our insufficiencies and remember Jesus as our only sufficiency. We do this Thursday evening to enable students to take part on various weekend outreaches, as well as allowing students to visit local Calvary Chapels for Sunday service.

Dormitory Housing

SINGLE STUDENTS

Dormitory housing is included in the tuition fees.  All single students, and students attending without their family, will be housed in either the north or south wing dormitory areas of the main building.  Both wings are gender specific, so there are no guys and girls on the same floor.  Each room contains bunk beds, desk area(s), personal storage area(s), and wardrobes.  Each student is given a bed (includes pillows, duvet, and bedding), lockable (optional) wardrobe, and an under-bed storage box.  Students are housed in rooms of 5-8 people per room.  There is a dorm leader in each room, and a men's and women's dorm steward for each wing.

At CCBCE, a key part of the learning process is the dynamic of living and interacting with other students.  God uses close living to teach students about patience, reconciliation, other-centeredness, prayer, service, and sacrifice.  As a campus of students from various cultures, each room will have at least one to two (if not more) other cultures in your room that differ from your culture and/or nationality.  We ask that each student be sensititive to one another's culture, and love and serve one another.

Family Housing

CCBCE WELCOMES FAMILIES

One of the unique factors of CCBCE is that staff families live on campus alongside other students and student families.  This allows for greater access to one another and fellowship.  In addition to getting further equipped, student couples/families often serve as an example to others around them.

MARRIED COUPLES

CCBCE offers married couples housing on-campus.  For married couples without children, the housing fees are included in the tuition price.  Most of the rooms designated for married couples are located in the main building.  There may be potential accomodation in a on-campus apartment.  There is an additional fee and deposit for an apartment.  Additionally, they are designated in order of family size and acceptance date.

Each room includes a queen-sized bed--including pillows, duvets, and linens; own closet(s) and storage; a desk; and an en suite bathroom.  In addition, there will be refrigerator and microwave access.

Visas for children
All family members including children must have a valid passport prior to applying to CCBCE.  In addition, each child that does not hold a European Union passport will be required to obtain a Hungarian visa.  For children under the age of 14 you must also provide the original birth certificate. Parents are responsible for visa fees and any associated costs.  We are ready to assist each family through every step of this process.  For more information please contact our visa depart at visas@ccbce.com.

Childcare and education
While CCBCE welcomes families, we do not provide any regular or scheduled childcare (other than Thursday evening Bible study).  If both spouses would like to attend classes, we can further advise you on how adjust each of your schedules accordingly.

Also, we are unable to provide classroom education for children.  In such cases, we advise that parents to be prepared with the proper materials and training to home school their children prior to attending CCBCE.

Reaching the Nations

Two of the many constants EVERY semester are:

  1. The multiplicity of cultures and nationalities among the student body
  2. Every student takes part in outreaches throughout Europe and beyond
We cannot quantify the impact that these have on each student to have a growing concern and care for others, a desire to build up the Body of Christ, and a burden to reach the lost. Many past CCBCE students have come with the intent of coming for one semester, and are now serving on the foreign mission field in various capacities. It is clear that God is the one who has brought, is bringing, and will bring His increase.

"So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase." -1 Corinthians 3:7 (NKJV)
